Gerwin de Haan

Gerwin joined APS in August 2023, stepping into the role of Account Executive. Currently, Gerwin is diligently working towards obtaining his Investment Advisor Representative license (Series 65) and the California Insurance license, embarking on a path to a promising future as a financial advisor.

Through his extensive travels across Europe and America, Gerwin has garnered a profound understanding of diverse markets and cultures, enhancing his ability to navigate the intricacies of our industry with a distinctive perspective and complimenting the international character of our clientele.

Born and raised in a small town in the Netherlands, Gerwin ventured to the United States to pursue higher education. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Major in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from Cal Poly Pomona in May 2023. Noteworthy is Gerwin's achievement as a champion track and field athlete during his collegiate years, where he excelled in the decathlon. His persistent drive and exceptional performance led him to become a three-time Conference champion, a rare achievement and a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence.

Gerwin's dedication to strive for success will help him greatly as he transitions from the athletic arena to the professional sphere. His goal is to infuse his competitive spirit and strong work ethic into his new career in financial advisory and investment management. Gerwin is looking forward to channeling these attributes into making lasting contributions to the APS team and the clients they serve.
